Submission Preparation

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• Please read the Author Guide before submitting a manuscript.
• The submission file is in Microsoft Word format.
• The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guide.
• DOIs and persistent links have been added to those references that have DOIs. Please see the Author Guide for details.

For non-translated articles (including original research, reviews, case studies, and other original submissions):

• The submission has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

For translated articles:

• The original work has been previously published in another language.
• Written permission from the original publisher and author(s) has been obtained and will be provided upon submission.
• The original source is clearly cited in the translated manuscript.
• The author agrees to review and confirm the accuracy of the final translated version if the journal arranges the translation.

Publication Fees:

• At present, JASE does not charge any Article Processing Charge (APC), submission fee, or publication fee for either original or translated articles. All accepted articles are published free of charge.

Copyright and Licensing:

• Authors retain copyright of their work. By submitting, authors grant the journal the right of first publication.
• All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) , which allows others to share and adapt the work with proper attribution.
